I just rolled over $115 in change....it was all just sitting in my piggy bank that lives on my piano...I was just hoarding it...I'm so nuts. What's even scarier is that I know that there is more around...I'm turning into my grandmother. When she died my parents found over $5000 in her house, most of it in coins. It was everywhere. I could use that much right now...

Happy Mardi Gras!!!! Woo hoo!
(As Tim would say... sin sin sin!)
(not that I actually condone that, but it makes me laugh..living with Catholics is amusing sometimes...)

So anyway, I thought I would make this entry exciting with color and everything...mostly because I didn't realize that you could actually do it...I need to learn to pay attention. It's naptime on this glorious snowy Tuesday, we're supposed to actually get around 6 inches today. This makes me very happy. I promised my employers that it would be the last snow I wished for this year...well verbally anyway. : P

I went out and bought some Paczkis today, they always sell them around this time. I was looking on the side of the box and I noticed that the various flavors were listed. I bought custard, I wanted apple, but no-one was selling apple...sad. I saw that one of the flavors was prune, and I thought who in the world would want a prune Paczki? That's just nasty. Who celebrates Mardi Gras by eating pastry filled with prune gunk? I guess if you're constipated it may come in handy..but yuck!

My mother sent me an e-mail last week and told me that she wants to take me to NYC for my birthday. I was completely floored, this is the same mom who used to say that she was perfectly happy in Bowling Green and had no need to see the rest of the world. So some weekend in June (yes my birthday is in April, but it's tax season, and my mom has to work) my newly adventurous mom and I are going to fly to NYC, see Mamma Mia, run around the city and fly back within two days. This could be interesting...at least I know not to walk to the Statue of Liberty from Grand Central Station....tee hee...

Well it's really cold in here, so I'm going to head back to the living room and pray that the kids stay asleep at least another hour. Maybe I'll be able to get a nap myself...
