It's the end of August...that is so nuts. Where is the year going? Summer is almost over..which is even crazier. Not that my summer has gone any differently than during the year or anything...

The play is over, words cannot express the relief that I feel. It was sooo much fun, but a big time consumer. I'm looking forward to getting back to relaxing evenings instead of running off to rehearsal right after working all day. I have to say I actually got to the point where I enjoyed playing Auntie Em...I wasn't so sure that I would ever say that back in June, but it was really fun....Even if Uncle Henry was a bit creepy....

Not a whole lot has been going on besides the play. My parents came out over the weekend. That was mostly fun. We went to Cabela's and had Buffalo burgers...my mother was feeling adventurous, which believe me..rarely happens. This coming weekend Amyjill is flying out, exciting stuff!!!! Woo hoo!

One year ago today I arrived in this fair land of Leavenworth Kansas. Isn't that nuts? I've been with this family for a year, and they still haven't kicked me out. Strong people! It has been a crazy year, and I can't believe how fast it's gone. It's even harder to believe that in less than 10 months we will be in another crazy state. I will be looking for a new church, new friends....whoa...

Not a whole lot to report. I've been practically living at the theater when I'm not at work. The show is kind of coming together, but it's still in scary shape considering we open next Friday....why do I sign myself up for these things?
