I'm sitting here on Saturday night with nothing to do. My weekends have been fairly uneventful lately, with the exception of Columbus day weekend when I went to see Ruthanne. I cannot wait to get out of here....seven more months.... I drove up to the International Forest of Friendship in Atchison today. It was uh...friendly...well actually it was full of those evil Japanese Beetles, and they were constantly dive bombing me. I would have stayed longer had they not been there...it was such a gorgeous day today, although I think any amount of sun would have made it a gorgeous day after our grey drizzly week. I watched a show the other day that talked about the super volcano underneath Yellowstone. If it erupts it would basically completely obliterate Wyoming, and then cover the entire country in ash, most likely causing an ice age that will kill the people who don't die of lung cancer. What's even more disturbing is that the guy who is in charge of monitoring the activity looks like he's about 12...I feel real safe. Not that it matters, there are so many potential natural disasters in this world...super volcanos, asteroids, earthquakes, tsunamis, man eating plants, sinkholes, alien abductions...it's amazing the human race survives at all... Gotta love the shows that point out that we're all gonna die. Praise God that He has it under control. This week I have nothing exciting planned. Next month will be better, between going to Colorado and Wisconsin, it will be a busy month. Then comes December when I get to go home...woo hoo! Whoever would have thought that I would miss BG this much? Add a comment posted by Tracy 20:35
So I had this dream last night that Molly, Jimmy and I were kidnapped by liberals...I went to the front door because the bell rang and I opened it with the chain still attached. When I asked who it was no one answered and I saw a gun, so being the calm Tracy that I am, I shut the door and locked it, then I ran to the back door to lock that, but they were already in the house. They said that we had to go with them, so we did...uh yeah. They were going door to door passing out literature, and kidnapping anyone who didn't adhere to their ideals...they took us around the front of the house and walked us down the sidewalk, and I kept thinking that Tim and Sydney would definitely see us walking with these strange people...then I woke up. I had to laugh when I woke up...maybe God is telling me to vote for Bush... It's so wonderful outside, it feels like fall. I love October. Today Melissa and I are going to the renaissance festival. I've been waiting to go since it opened over Labor Day weekend. It should be fun! I'm so happy that it's not even supposed to get to 70 today...summer's over thank God! Anyone know a good chiropractor in Northeast Kansas? I'm scared to death to go to one, so I will only go if someone recommends one...I know that so many of you spend so much time here...
