Am I on crack, or did this show never exist? Does anyone know what this is? I've never heard of it, and I watched a ton of tv when I was little! I'm a little disturbed, is it like a show that didn't broadcast here or something. Am I like those of you who don't know who Mr. Dressup is? I still can't believe you people! A world without Mr. Dress up...that's terrible! Mr. Dressup is like oxygen! Mr. Dressup is a many splendoured thing, Mr. Dressup lifts us up where we belong, all we need is Mr. Dressup! Yes I am very insane! Back away slowly....very slowly....

I have been convinced once again that this school is run by Nazis....I'm in the process of finishing up tons of paperwork to get into this nanny school. I'm practically finished, but I still need to get my high school and college transcripts to them. So travel across campus to the records office to take care of the college side of things. They stamp my form, and everything seemed to be going well until they sent me to the Bursar's office to be gassed...uh I mean cleared. I have checked my Bursar's account several times this week, the balance is high, but I was assured of no holds on my account. Well of course they have to find some reason to keep my transcripts from getting where they need to go. I was really frustrated, I should have just written them a check, but I decided not to and then left. Then when I got to the Union I decided to go ahead and pay what I needed to make them happy...but it will take two days to process and they tell me this after the bill has gone through.....grr....I need away from this school before I blow it up!
I got new glasses this morning! I don't know why this makes me excited, but it does. I was mildly amused this morning when I walked into the office. There were two pleasant little receptionists behind the desk. I told them why I was there, and one of them disappeared behind a wall...seroiusly it was like poof! And she was gone! About two minutes later she came out with a tray as well as sporting a spiffy lab coat...this made me laugh. She wasn't wearing it before, so was I supposed to think, now that she looks like lab specialist type person I should trust her? I thought it was worth a chuckle...it was also early, and I had just gotten off of work. It would have been even more amusing if she would have reappeared wearing full spandex body suit with a gigantic E on her chest. (You know like the big E on the eye chart?) Okay maybe I should quit here....

So I'm sitting in my parents house watching the cancellations scroll across the tv screen...Glenwood Presbyterian AM services cancelled....Gloria United Methodist...no Sunday Services....Good News, All services cancelled..... I immediately started giggling. They honestly let that scroll across the screen! Let me tell you, it brought me joy! The tv station which shall remain nameless, but whose initials are Channel 13 Toledo Ohio, was also having trouble with spaces so some things came out like Snow EmergencyLDS Church of Perrysburg closed ...that was worth a giggle too. The things that thrill me.....
So yes, we're having a snow episode, I hesitate to call it a storm, because we're really only going to end up with 8-10 inches when it's all said and done, and compared to the east coast...that's hardly anything. But it's snow, and snow makes a happy Tracy...and a happy Tracy is a good thing!
Oh! Exciting news!! At least exciting to me! I inherited one of my Grandma's plucked dulcimers!!!! I think that's so cool. I really don't know how to play, although my grandma did try to teach me a few years ago. and I did get the hang of it okay. I'm just excited that I get to keep something that meant so much to her. It will be a wonderful memory of her!

So it's not like anything exciting has happened, but I thought I would write anyway. I should be sleeping, but I haven't gotten that far yet. I wish it were 4:00pm tomorrow, then I would be done with work and home in my own apartment happy as can be. We're supposed to get a snowstorm tomorrow which should make anyone smile! I hope it dumps feet of snow on us, and closes BG down for three or four days! That's highly unlikely, but a person can dream can't they?
I didn't really do anything too interesting today. I slept way too late, researched lodging for our upcoming Boston/New York trip...good times good times, sang a little, played a little piano, ordered my roommate a pizza so we could celebrate the 2 year anniversary of her surgery, cleaned some...yeah nothing exciting. I wish I could write about my spontaneous adventure to Bali, to mingle with the Indonesians. The guy on the plane who tried to eat his seat cushion, eating maggots stuffed with onions, the three teenage boys who tried to mug me in the middle of a busy marketplace...ha! Little did they know who they were dealing with. And all the trouble I got myself into...and believe me, if I were in Indonesia, I would most likely get myself into terrible trouble. But it never happened, no I stayed at home living my boring little life in the flattest, most unexciting place on earth. When you call your mom because there's an ambulance at the carryout across the parking lot for you...you definitely live in absolute monotany... take it from one who knows. I suppose if I lived in some places I would wish to live here. You know, places where things blow up daily, and you can't walk down the street without getting shot at. I should count my blessings.....
