When Quinn the Eskimo gets here everybody's gonna shout for joy! Come all without, come all within, you'll not see nothing like the mighty Quinn! I have no idea what it means, but it's a cool song! Knowing me, it probably means some terrible thing that I should be singing about, but oh well I like it for now! I mean, it's about an eskimo named Quinn! What else could you ask for?
Ah, it's another day here in BG! It's no more exciting than yesterday, but the sun is shining and the wind is blowing. It's not a bad day whatsoever. Oh yes, now it's time for some Monkees! If you haven't already figured it out, I'm listening to my usual mix of tunes. If only I had a CD burner, so they could come with me this week! Sigh!...I desire what I cannot have, or at least cannot afford. Oh the fun I would have with a Cd burner! Okay I'll stop dwelling on it now!
I haven't seen Agatha since the attempted murder yesterday. I'm hoping that she hasn't taken residence in my bed or somewhere where I'm likely to come across her.
Only a few more days until we embark on our journey! We could be the next hit reality tv series. We could vote each other off and leave people in the middle of the desert. The winner would win the sought after prize of driving home alone! There would be drama, humor, violence, sappy heart to heart moments, romance...okay maybe not! Anyway, I can see it now, we'd be better than Road Rules, Survivor and the Osbournes combined! There would be t-shirts, cereals, hats, stuffed animals, fruit snacks, blow torches, toilet paper all sorts of things promoting our hit show!
Whatever happens, this trip ought to be terribly interesting. We should come back alive, although we may have a few minor scrapes and bruises from occasional brawls. I'm planning on keeping a log of the whole thing in addition to pictures and the video, and excerpts will most likely be shared here. Then you will feel like you were there, and for some of you, you will have been there.

And it's Thursday already! I have no idea where this week has run off to! I took my eyes off it for one second, and it just flew away! Ah, but tomorrow is payday! This is a good thing! I can't venture to San Diego completely broke! Just partially!
Nothing too exciting has entered my world lately, except for the fact that I officially began my job this week. It's still considered training, but I've actually been in the homes kind of working. It will definitely be interesting, my job will in no way be boring! But that's what working with people is all about, and that's why I like it!
There's a big ugly spider in my bathroom! I've named her Agatha. Naming things makes me less scared of them. My mom went to kill it today, and ended up losing the creature somewhere on the floor! Woo hoo! I'm just going to try to forget about it being in there.
So I'm off to California next week! This is an exciting thing. Several days in a car with four other people! Who could ask for anything more! Hopefully we'll all come back alive! Three girls, two guys and a van! Just doesn't have the same ring as two guys, a girl and a Monte Carlo! Hmmm....Will have to come up with a more creative name...if anyone out there has any ideas let me know! We could be the next hit show on the WB! Yeah that's my goal in life! Right after working at Joe's Crab Shack!
Well I think it's time to play a little game called Let's Clean the Apartment! Our guest today is the evil dish monster, and his little friend floating food bits! Okay, so that will go nowhere!

Hello again! I'm trying to keep myself busy, so I thought that it would be a good time to update my blog! Not that I have anything exciting to say or anything. I get to start my new job on Monday! This is very exciting, considering I'm getting sick of not working. I recall feeling very similar last summer when I was in Minnesota. You would think a couple of weeks without a job would be wonderful, but it gets kind of boring after awhile, and you begin to go stir crazy! This is not good! Because when you're stir crazy you do strange things like learn how to imitate a sprinkler, or light candles just because you like to watch the flame, or get on the internet 75 times a day, and look up bizarre things such as dancing hamsters, or how to make a center piece out of used tin foil and a bedsheet. Nope! Stir craziness is not good!
I went and visited my grumpy grandpa today, and almost got eaten by his cat as usual. He has a rather psychotic feline, who is extremely unpredictable. It's probably good for him, because he needs something exciting in his life. I love him dearly, but I hate going over there.
I ate at Joe's Crab Shack last night, and let me tell you, it was really cool! I have a new goal in life now...I'm going to work there. They dance, they sing, they wear crazy t-shirts. That was a wonderful spontaneous venture last night! Kudos to Mike!!!
I think I'm going to go to bed early tonight. There's nothing else to do, and if I don't find something soon, I'm going to start to get mopey. We don't need that. When Tracy's mopey it's just not good...kind of like being stir crazy.
Ha! I just read my last blog, and I actually typed "So I took the driving part of my van orientation for work today, and I passed with flying cars!" Whoa! If I passed with flying cars, something had to have gone wrong! Gotta love it when I type without thinking...which I do quite often!

So I took the driving part of my van orientation for work today, and I passed with flying cars! The woman who drove with me, said that I was a good driver and should consider being a bus and van driver. I had to giggle! Can you see me driving a bus???? That would be a sight! But still it was nice to be told that I'm a good driver not just because I didn't hit anything! I didn't mention the fact that I failed the driving test five times before I passed it, I didn't think that was a good time to bring that up!
The air conditioner dude just came by to fix my air conditioner, but of course there was nothing he could do right now because it wasn't hot enough. Not that I really care right now, but I'm sure I will if it ever gets hot! Now we're just wating for the plumaber type person. Then my apartment will be perfect!
I visited the nanny school on Sunday! For those of you who don't know, I'm planning on attending The English Nanny and Governess School next June in Chagrin Falls Ohio. I'm really excited. The interview and assesment went really well. I was told that with a college degree, I will be in high demand, and have lots of control over where I go. I was also told that I will make no less than $800 a week starting out, and will most likley make much more than that! I can handle this! This is doable! Chagrin Falls is such a cute little town too! A little snobby, but nevertheless, cute! They have hills! And just my luck the dorm for this school is at the top of the tallest one! : )
Well off I run to pick up my mother. I'm quite the busy bee today! Run run run!

Happy Tuesday! I'm just hanging out waiting to go pick up my desk for my bedroom. Living alone is a very quiet thing. Sometimes it's nice, and sometimes it's not I guess. I am enjoying my kitchen and the extra roomt though! I don't have to fight to use the oven, and if I don't want to stay in my bedroom, there are other options! Fun fun!
I talked to Ruthanne today which was good. That's really all I've done today, that took quite a chunk. I think I will go do dishes now! I actually like doing my own dishes! Craziness. Someone came in and fixed the diswasher this morning, and I didn't even hear them. That's a tad unnerving! They were in here fixing a major appliance, and I had no clue! So let me just post this for all to hear, if you want to break in somewhere, come here, because chances are, I won't notice!

Hey! Well I'm offcially in my new place. I've been here for a few days, but Kay was vistiing, and technically still is, although she's packing up now. I have orientation at 3:00 for my new job. I love this apartment! I have cupboards and a kitchen, one and a half bathrooms and a humongous closet in my room! This is really cool! I will have to write more later though, because I need to run! Just wanted to do a quick update. More tonight.....

Can't we just rewind things back to maybe my sophomore year of college, when life still sucked, but at least things weren't so crazy! Sigh! Those were the days.......

I really should go to bed, but my brain is zooming, so sleep probably wouldn't happen. I finished day 3 of orientation for my new job. It was hardly thrilling....they basically talked at us about tax stuff and insurance, which didn't apply to me because I'm not eligible for it. It was really boring. Then we had to endure the book part of the van training. I don't feel like I learned a whole lot, but I guess it makes them feel better to force us to endure that. I have to drive the van next week, and show them that I can do that. I'm a little nervous because I hate being under pressure, but I know that I can drive a van...considering I learned how to drive on one.
I really need to work on packing up my room. There's just so much stuff, and so little motivation. I have to have it done by tomorrow because they're cleaning my carpet on Friday. THey just kind of informed me of this last night. Why don't they just wait until I leave?????
So I'm not in a very amusing mood tonight, I'm sorry that I'm not dazzling anyone. I probably should just put myself in bed, and try to fall asleep. Life will be better in the morning! Have a spiffy nifty day!

And we're back! Fish heads, fish heads rolly polly fish heads...fish heads fish heads eat them up yum! Sorry, that's what's playing at the moment. I just got back from five and a half hours of job orientation, so I needed something a little less....um...dry. It wasn't terrible, just not the most fun I've ever had. I am really excited about my new job though! I really think it will be a good experience, and I will learn a lot.
I'm still surviving even though I'm fairly down here in Bowling Green Land! Friday thru Sunday, I had doubts that I would live through this. But I'm finding that things are getting better little by little. I'm keeping plenty busy, and enjoying the down time that I'm getting. It would be nice if I had my friends back though. Sigh......
I spent all day yesterday watching Trading Spaces and A Baby Story with my mother. It actually was a lot of fun. Good sappy, girl stuff. I can take it every once in awhile. My mom told me stories about when my brothers and I were born. How I didn't cry when I popped out, I just looked around without a sound. She freaked a bit thinking that I was dead. I also put my mom through the most hell during the labor. Hmmmm... and I guess I never stopped! : P
I babysat my beautiful Schempf children this morning. It was fun as usual. Karena is considerably less cranky now. When she's happy she's really cute! (she's cute when she's not too!) Erik is becoming an obstinate toddler, and that's a little annoying, but nothing terribly out of the ordinary. Mia is wonderful and talkative. I think she may have talked non-stop this morning, and everything had to do with her dance class. Annika turned 5 today, and wasn't there while I was sitting this morning. Kevin had to work at her school, so she left with him at 8:00.
Only four more days till I move to my new dwelling. I'll have a kitchen!!!!!!! I will have furniture, oh it's so exciting!! Get me out of this little room!!!!

One more exam to go! I really should be studying right now, but I'm blogging instead. I'm so sick of school! Tomorrow will be nice, I won't have to worry about it for a few months! Well my grades next week could potentially be scary, but I'm not thinking about that now!
I went to a moving sale this morning and managed to snag two end tables, a coffee table and a sofa for $50.00, I was so impressed! My apartment will have furniture! My mom even managed to get me a free dining set, woo hoo! Crazy crazy!

Well I made it through my first exam...it was not fun at all, but it's over. I'm not going to worry about it anymore. I'm not in the greatest of moods today, I think I'm a trifle hormonal. I know that you all really wanted to know that! Had a weird day yesterday. It shouldn't have been a bad day, but it was.
On a happier note, Riverdance was amazing! I had a wonderful time! The Fox Theater is a beautful place. I was very happy with our little theatrical splurge! I highly reccomend the show if you haven't seen it yet! It's got singing, dancing, flashing lights, it's even got comedy, who could ask for anything more?????
Well my room's a mess, there's essays to write, and reading to catch up on, I will have to blog sometime in the future! Study hard my friends!
