The Union computer lab is a popular place today! I probably should be nice and give up my computer to some poor student who hasn't started their paper that's due at 2:30. But I probably won't, at least not while there's only a few people waiting. Instead I shall dazzle you with my incredible wit and humor! Okay, so maybe not...
Today is my last Monday of the spring 2002 semester, and let me tell you I'm thrilled! Mondays were not fun this semester. Too much to do! I will be more than happy to give them up! I tried to give them up for lent, but that didn't work out so well.
This Saturday Kay, Ruthanne and I are going to Detroit to see Riverdance! Yes I'm very excited. My mother would tell me that I'm odd for wanting to watch a bunch of people stomp their feet for three hours, but I really could care less! There's more than just "stomping" feet, there's singing, there's music, there's really hot guys....well I don't really know that... : ) Nevertheless, we're going and we're going to have a wonderful time! Why? Because we can!
I don't have anything else inspiring right now, so I will let you all get back to your regularly scheduled day! I may interrupt later!

It's a lot colder outside than it looks! Believe me, I know! I ventured outdoors today! Class is a good thing to go to. I walked out there without a coat, and wearing sandals, and it was a trifle chilly! But enough talk about weather, let's talk about you! Yes you! How are YOU doing? HOW are you doing? How ARE you doing? How are you DOING? Okay I'm done now... I love that commerical!
Kay and I went to K Mart last night because i needed to buy cookies for Children's Lit today. I got an Interactive Yoda for eight bucks! I was so excited! I should never go shopping when I'm depressed, but at least it was on sale. He's really cute. When he's asleep it looks like he's praying. Kay and I have decided he's our master. I get to be trained in the ways of the Jedi! Exciting exciting.
All in all, I've had a really good week so far. It's pretty crazy I know. I realized this when I was walking back from class. I was smiling, and it was strange. This is good I think. So if anyone out there is bummed out, give me a call. I'll annoy you for ahwhile! Actually I'll hopefully cheer you up!
If any of my loyal readers are available May 18th, and wanna get crazy and help me move, I'll be more than happy to enlist your help! I have an apartment on S. College. It's terribly exciting. I'll be living alone for the first month and then I'll have two roomates for the summer, and one of those girls will stay for fall and spring. Come on, you know want to help!
Well that's my life as of now! Have a great day everyone!

I'm ready to blog something slightly meaningful now!!! Okay, okay, stop jumping up and down it's not going to be THAT meaningful! I just got back from fencing, I'm a little tired, but not completely dead....: )
Today was tournament day..or in Tracy terms, fence everybody and get slaughtered by them.. Okay, so I didn't do that horribly. Our class was divided into two pools of seven people. At first she had us mixed, but within the first thirty seconds of the second bout...which was me and this really tall blonde guy, she called halt, and split us into guys and girls since there were seven each. I was a little relieved, because this tall blonde guy that I was fencing was getting a whole lot of pleasure out of my fear of him. I tried not to be scared, but he was coming at me with a sword. I am happy to say that he hadn't gotten a touch on me before she stopped us! : ) Stupid boy! Okay, so anyway, the tournament was an hour and fifteen minutes of sword slashin', violent, happy, clean fun! Remember what Pastor Darrell says....It's all fun and games until someone pokes an eye out...and then it's just fun!
I actually won one bout, which was cool! But it ended there. I fenced two leftys after that, and although I put up a good fight, I lost. Then I fenced Angela...Angela doean't fence, she violently waves a pointy object at you while trying to take you out at the same time. It's like she's a Powerpuff girl/Power Ranger/ gang member with a vengance. My only response was to get out of the way, and protect myself, and I didn't do a very good job with that. It was terrifying, and painful. When she hits ya, she isn't nice about it. So I lost that bout, but that's okay because I'm still alive.
So it was an interesting class...and I probably will never fence again...so sad...it really is!
I'm now watching Walker Texas Ranger, tres exciting! Actually it's not, but at least it's sound. He's a tough one.... You gotta love it when he punches someone in the face and sends them flying in slow motion..someday I will be able to do that! Probably after I take my martial arts class at the Nanny school. Can ya see it. Tracy flying through the air and hitting four people at the same time. I know Jujitsu and a few other japanese words...yeaah....
Well, I must be off. So little to do, so much time! Well something like that! Remember to eat your supper!

Disney Princesses
Which of the Disney Princesses are you?

Maybe....I don't know!
So I had my birthday shindig, and it was pretty spiffy. We had the two decades, we had the dancing, we kind of had the karaoke if you count the random belting that Kim, Steph, Kay, and I did, and best of all we had the pinata, and what a pinata it was. It's now in pieces, on to pinata heaven due to my fit of rage which flung candy all over Charla's apartment. (It was even in the potato salad) I would recommend not crossing me if I'm upset! I didn't know I had it in me.... Anyway, thanks so much to everyone who hosted and came to the party. It was really cool, I feel so loved! : ) And thanks for the wonderful things you guys said on the video that Jamie made. It made me cry...happy tears! : )
Oh and Charla.... I know what it's like to feel the way you did when you posted yesterday. Please remember that you are very much loved by lots of people! If you would actually be home more often I may be able to come hang out! : ) Hint hint! I will call you soon, we'll chat... : )
Well I should make my way to Children's Lit. I'm actually practicing the art of going to class today. This is good, considering I had a test this morning. I bombed it miserably, but at least I was there to take it. Get out enjoy the beautiful weather! It could snow tomorrow! : ) It would still be beautiful in my book, but get there for the sunshine!

Oh it's so wonderful outside! I do wish for snow, but this will do for now! I think dinner outdoors will just have to happen today! I hear that it's supposed to rain all day tomorrow, which is probably just fine too as long as it's warm....
I have had some extremely bizarre dreams in the past few days. I'm starting to wonder if I'm taking illegal drugs without my knowledge... Children drowning in cement, Oklahoma (I've never even been to Oklahoma) And working in a cornfield, playing Sims with Intervarsity staff, owning a sheep named Meg, living in a Catholic Orphanage that lives like like a musical, gang members, it's all just insane! Maybe I'm having these dreams because nothing else is happening in my life right now, well at least nothing interesting!
Ruthanne and I wandered down some random backroad last night so we could see the stars. It was so beautiful. They were out in full force last night! We didn't see any shooting stars though, not like Cedar Campus last summer! Now that was cool. If you haven't heard about that, just ask because that was really great! My roommate hasn't gone to sleep yet! She was up all night working on her choral arrangement..... bad Kay. Well I guess it was good that she was doing homework, but sleep is important!!!! Maybe I should just knock her out! Nah! She'll sleep soon!
Now it's time for a story......
Once upon a time there was a villiage of cute little elves deep in the woods. They were known as the Snookie People to those who lived on the edge of the woods. The Snookie people were feared by all, even though they were absolutely harmless and so very cute. The problem with the people at the edge of the woods was that they were astoundingly ugly and scared of all that was cute and harmless. The Edge People, as the Snookies called them, armed themselves with clubs and swords in order to protect themselves from the adorable Snookies. Every night before the Edge People would go to bed they would hold a lottery to appoint a guard for their villiage. The person chosen to be guard had to sit at the villiage gate and watch for any attacks on them. Nothing ever happened, but the Edge people continued this ridiculous nightly ritual. The Snookies however, had no reason to protect themselves. They fell asleep every night without a worry that they would be attacked. One day one of the Edge People who was known as Hubert, began to protest the nightly protection ritual. He stood in the center of town and began to yell.
"Why must we live in fear! The Snookie People have never come near us, maybe they aren't scary after all! Maybe they're just really nice people who just want to live in the woods like us! I say we stop with this ridiculous behavior and stop worrying about them. Maybe we could even be friends!"
The other Edge People walked through the villiage glaring at Hubert. They were not about to stop their nightly ritual, let alone make friends with their horrid enemies.
"Oh shut your mouth Hubert!" cried another person named Claudia "Everyone knows that the Snookies are only out to terrorize us, stamp on our chickens and soil our quilts! Hoy! We need to protect ourselves from their evil, if we don't we will die!"
Hubert stared at Claudia in disbelief. These people were actually serious. They were scared of people they had never seen before and knew nothing about. He thought carefully before responding.
"You people make me sad. I must go and prove it to you. The Snookies are not out to do anything to us, and I will go to them tonight, so you can know this too!"
A hush fell over the crowd of Ugly Edge People. Would Hubert really do it? Go to the Snookies? Was he crazy? They began to beg him to change his mind.
" No you musn't! "cried one. "They'll eat you for supper!"
"They'll impale you with a plastic spoon!"
"Nail your tongue to a wall!"
"Send your dead burnt body floating down the river!"
"You can't go!"
People continued shouting the different fates that Hubert would face by going to their enemy, but Hubert didn't listen to them. He grabbed his sack, and walked through the gates that protected their little villiage. The people ran after him, but stopped dead at the gate, refusing to go any further. Silently they all shook their heads. They would never see Hubert again.
Meanwhile, Hubert had began his journey to meet the dreaded Snookie People. He had not an ounce of fear in him, and he walked at a brisk and determined pace hoping to reach them before nightfall. His people were wrong, and he was going to make sure that they knew it!
As he walked deeper and deeper into the woods things became happier. Flowers were in bloom, little woodland critters scurried about. The beauty sent a chill down Hubert's spine, but at the same time he found it pleasant, almost causing him to begin to skip. Within in the hour he had reached the villiage of the Snookie people. They were going about their normal days work singing and whistling happy tunes that brought a relaxed smile to Hubert's face, making the ugliness go away. He stayed on the path and began his walk through the villiage. At first, the Snookies didn't seem to notice him, they were busy running about, being productive and happy. He began to join them in their singing, but his voice clashed terribly with theirs. All of the Snookies stopped in their tracks and looked up to see what the unfamiliar tone deaf voice was. Hubert became quiet and stopped with them, giving them a look of fright.
The whispers began to reach his ears. He could hear them talking to each other trying to figure out what he was.
"My goodness!" said one of the little elves "Why I think it's an Edge person"
"No doubt about it! He's a big one! What should we do?"
"I don't know....how about we....give him some flowers!"
"And a party! Don't forget the party! With a cake, and some candles.."
" A feast! We simply must feast!"
"And make him the guest of honor!"
Hubert was a little confused, but was happy to hear that they weren't unhappy to see him. The elves began to dance and sing around him, the children jumped on him, and began chattering with questions. Hubert didn't know what to do, he just smiled and stood still.
"You really are good people!" he exclaimed. "I must take you all back with me!"
"Yes yes take us with you! We want to meet everyone! We'll bring the feast and party to them!"
Hubert and the elves took off for the Edge of the woods. They carried food, flowers, gifts, and they sang as they skipped down the woods path. Hubert hadn't even realized that he would look different to his people. His face had become happy, and he wasn't ugly at all.
The Edge people heard the commotion coming towards their villiage. They grabbed their weapons and assembled at the gate.
"They've come for the rest of us! We must fight!"
Hubert saw his people at the gate and ran ahead.
"Everyone!" He yelled."I've brought them, they're not evil!"
He kept yelling, but his people didn't recognize him. They ran at him screaming with their clubs and swords. Hubert watched his people in terror.
"No! It's me! Stop! There's no reason to fight!"
They kept running and clubbed him over the head. The elves stopped and the Edge people stopped.
"Is that how you treat your people?" one of the elves asked
One of the women gasped.
It's Hubert! We've just killed Hubert."
I'm not completely dead." Hubert whispered.
"We've mortally wounded Hubert!"
"Actually I think I may pull through."
"Oh sweet Hubert! We are sorry to have seriously hurt you! We didn't realize..."
"I think I'm okay, I'm feeling much better, I think I can get up."
"No no, you just lie there, we'll take care of these elves...."
" NO you can't!" Hubert cried leaping up. "They're good, they really are. THey want to throw us a party. They've brought all the food!"
"And gifts! " A little Snookie exclaimed.
"We even have a clean up crew hired for afterwards!" another explaned.
"Y-y-you mean, Hubert was right, you aren't evil people who want to kill us?" Claudia asked.
"Oh no! We don't kill people! We are shrubers! We make, design and sell shruberies! Why would would we want to kill you?"
The Edge people blushed and shrugged their shoulders, not knowing what to say.
So the Snookies and the Edge people celebrated their new found friendship. Little by little all of the Edge People lost their ugliness to joyful smiles!! And it was all because of Hubert, an Exceptional Edge Person!

Wasn't that just beautiful! Right off the top of my head...I know scary....Don't ask me why I shared that with you, but I did! Have a great day! Get out there and enjoy it!

Congratulations! You are the most evil man of all time! Not only did you exterminate millions of Jews and involved the world in the biggest war the world has ever seen, you also convinced the Germans that the perfect human is a tall blue eyed blond when you're a short, dark Austrian yourself! Well done you spiteful little shit!

What tin-pot dictator are you? Take the "What Dictator am I?" test at PoisonedMinds.com

I had to put this up for the world to see! Yep! It's all true, they called me Hitler in highschool, and I still got it now.... Actually I put it up for Charla, because I knew she'd be jealous! : ) I'm your man! Okay, I'm not going to go that far! Most of you have seen the videos though...does this really surprise you????????? Hmmmmmmm.....

Has anyone noticed that I start my blogs with the word "okay" a lot???? My goodness Trace what's your deal? I think that's the way I speak....I'm so odd! Oh by the way if you're coming to my birthday shin dig, remember to dress up as your favorite two decades! It's very important, you don't want to feel stupid do you????? Go crazy, but remember to come back! Whatever!

Okay, so I know that Charla reads the page! Thanks Charla, you rule the world!

Okay, so I'm starting to wonder if anyone out there actually reads this thing.... I have this nifty spifty comments thing on my blog, and I've gotten a whopping five comments since I put it up. Am I writing to myself??? That's kind of boring, you would think someone out there would have some consideration and tell me that my ramblings aren't worth reading...
Okay, so I'm in a wonderful mood today..ha! Actually I'm not doing too bad, just a little on the sleepy side this morning, I would rather be in bed right now! I actually got up and went to work this morning. It isn't my normal day, but I have lots of make up hours to get in. I'm planning on going to Minority groups today which is good considering that I haven't been there in a week and a half. I should go see what's going on in that class.
It's hard to believe that it's only Tuesday, yesterday seemed to go on forever. It feels like Thursday or Friday. You'd think with the spring ahead thing, things would move faster. But they don't... I hate Spring ahead. Whoever came up with that idea should be shot. Sleep is hard enough to get as it is, why take a whole hour away? I thought about starting a bit of a revolution. Instead of springing ahead when we're supposed to I would fall back another hour. So whenever the daylight savings fiasco comes up, it would always be time to fall back. I know that that would have caused a bit of a problem with the rest of the world, but I would be a minority, and would have rights! : ) Anyone want to join me? We could start tomorrow!
Well I told Lindsey that I would come watch some of the improv-a-thon before class. I should keep my promise! If anyone reads this today (4-9-02) before 6pm, go out to the space between Eppler and the Education building and support the drama people. If you have money to give away they would appreciate it, but they would also just like people to come watch them practice their art. It could be real interesting! Happy Tuesday!

Wow, it's been awhile hasn't it...what have I been up to lately???? That's a really good question, as soon as I figure it out, I'll get back to you! I'm currently sitting here drinking mountain dew and munching on Bugles...the San Francisco Treat ding ding! Okay so maybe not.... I'm waiting to leave for Ruthanne's recital. Kay ran off to the kitchen to make Ramen noodles....yuck! So I'm trying to amuse myself as usual. I do this well by the way....
I went home today and hung out with my mom, which is always interesting. She was preparing to finish up the taxes, and was particularly not looking forward to finishing mine since I have to file both in Ohio and Minnesota. I like to make things complicated! So while she was preparing we watched the Osbourne's....that was a trip let me tell you! These are the Osbournes as in Ozzy....they have their own reality tv show on MTV now. It's kind of scary, but my mom just thinks it's great. I left extremely screwed up. You basically sit there for an hour and watch this incredibly dysfunctional family be....well dysfunctional. They cus like it's going out of style, at each other and just for the fun of it. They throw food at their neighbors when they think they're being annoying. They live in this extremely elegant house in Beverly Hills, and they all speak with British accents, but they're behavior just doesn't match the stereotype. I was very fascinated by this little show.....as well as utterly appalled. But also strangely entertained....maybe I need to stop going home.
Kay and I watched Moulin Rouge last night, it was my first time seeing it, and I absolutely loved it. I don't even know why, but I thought it was great! I watched it again today, I think I'm hooked! Kudos to Kay for renting it!
Oh! Anyone who reads this is invited to my Come as your favorite two decades karaoke dance party with a pinata!!!! It's next Saturday 7:00ish or so. It's going to be really uh...intriguing so come!!!!! If you need directions to Charla's apartment just e-mail me bonitarosita@hotmail.com because I'm sure Charla would not appreciate it if I just put them on here! That would be pretty crazy.
And now for a limerick.....

I once knew a girl named Kay
Who never knew what to say.
She opened her mouth
And then took off south.
And hasn't come back to this day....

Wow! I'm amazing! I would post one of the poems that I came up with on the poetry generator, but I seem to have misplaced the disk, so they will have to be presented another day! :( Too bad so sad cry me a river! It will all be okay I promise!!!! Peace love and lollipops! Have a yummy sunny day everyone!
